As per UGC Regulation 2009, ragging includes:

• Any act of physical/mental abuse (including bullying)
• Forcing juniors to perform demeaning tasks
• Financial extortion or intimidation
• Acts causing psychological trauma or fear
• Online harassment (cyber ragging)

1. Anti-Ragging Committee

24/7 monitored by faculty, senior students, and NGO representatives.

2. Mandatory Undertaking

Every student/parent must submit anti-ragging affidavits at admission.

3. Surveillance

CCTV cameras in corridors, hostel entries, and common areas.

⚖️ Strict Penalties

As per UGC & Indian Penal Code (IPC 294, 506):

• ➤ Expulsion from college with permanent blacklisting
• ➤ FIR filed with local police
• ➤ Suspension of scholarship/degree
• ➤ Up to 3 years imprisonment + fine (as per Supreme Court)
